A handful of companies control the compute that trains models and the APIs that serve them — models built on data the world never agreed to give. Governments treat intelligence as a strategic asset: export-controlled, licensed, rationed by jurisdiction. And the people and businesses who now run their daily work through AI hold no rights in any of it. Access can be withdrawn, repriced, or restricted at any time — while every prompt carries their data, and their secrets, onto infrastructure they do not control.
The web faced the same fork and chose openness — standards nobody owned, infrastructure anyone could join. That choice is available again. The Tenzro Foundation exists to make it.

Papers, methods, evaluations, and reference implementations — published under permissive licenses, reproducible by anyone, anywhere.
Open governance
Decisions, agendas, funding, and conflicts of interest recorded in public. Sponsors fund the mission; they do not direct it.

Specifications for the open agentic web — so agents, providers, and people interoperate on rails no single party can lock.
The foundation stewards the standards of the open agentic web — and becomes steward and governance home of their reference implementation as it moves to mainnet.
The Tenzro Network was bootstrapped by Tenzro Labs, the foundation’s founding sponsor. At mainnet, its codebase, roadmap, and governance pass to the foundation — held in the public interest, under the same principles that guide the rest of our work.
